Acer Launches Iconia W4 in India for Rs. 30000

Like other popular companies, Taiwanese manufacturers also came out with the big screen tablet 'Iconia W4' in the Indian market with the price tag of Rs. 30000 (approx., may vary). The company launched this mobile taking into consideration the demand of big screen devices. Its predecessor mobile was Iconia W3, which has a 8.1-inch screen with optional physical keyboard and was launched in December, 2013.

Talking about the latest tablet, Acer Iconia W4, it comes with a 8-inch multi-touch IPS display with Zero Air Gap touch and 178-degree viewing angle. Display resolution of the tablet is 800x1200 pixels. Running on the latest Windows 8.1 operating system, it packs a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3740 Bay Trail T processor along with Intel HD graphics and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. It facilitates auto-focus 5MP rear camera with the capability of 1080p video recording for the camera lovers and 2MP full HD front-facing camera for video calling.

Huge storage of data in this tablet is possible through 64GB  of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Connectivity features of the tablet includes Bluetooth, microUSB, 3G support via SIM card slot, micro HDMI and WiFi. Moreover, this tablet houses some pre-loaded apps like Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013. The company has also offered free cover worth Rs. 3000 for those customers who will order this tablet before or on May 2 from their official Facebook page.

On its Official Facebook page, the company is also giving chance to its customers to win a W4 tablet by running a contest. It will be available to its customers from May 3 on the its official retail store and other stores of Croma and Reliance Digital. It comes in two color options such as Balck and Silver.
