Asus launches new Fonepad 7 tablet

Asus has launched a refreshed version of its 'Asus Fonepad 7' tablet with improved features at a press conference in IFA 2013. It comes with Dual Speakers to provide better quality audio experience and it is having same 7inch display as its predecessor. Company is going to offer 5GB of free Asus Webstorage in case you need more space and it will be available in three different memory models such as 8GB, 16GB as well as 32GB.

Talking about its features, the refreshed Asus Fonepad 7 comes with a 7inch IPS touchscreen display along with the resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. At its heart, it has an Intel Atom Z2560 processor chip clocked at 1.6GHz and 1GB of RAM. It will be running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean OS with Asus's own custom user interface. Other features of the tablet include Floating app functionality which enable you to open six separate applications on the same screen. In the terms of connectivity, it offers HSPA+, 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi and SIM card slot for voice calling. It is fueled with 3950mAH massive battery which provide 10 hours of video playback and 28 hours of 3G talk time.

Company didn't unveil any information regarding the price and release date of the device.
