ASUS Launches Padfone in India

Asus Tek has launched Android tablet called the Asus PadFone, in India for Rs 64,999. The PadFone features a Smartphone with 4.3 inch display and one dock with a 10.1 inch display. The dock features a separate battery pack which will enhance the battery of the PadFone during use. PadFone runs on 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon, S4 dual-core processor. It comes with a 4.3-inch display with a 960×540 pixel and multitouch. OS is Android Ice Cream Sandwich upgradable to Jelly Bean. 8MP records HD videos and front VGA camera is for video callings. Memory is 1 GB of RAM along with 32 GB with 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. The dock features 1280×800 pixel display and a 1.3-megapixel front and 8MP rear camera. The battery is 6,600 mAH. With computer like functionality, the docking station enhances the battery life of the PadFone with the improved battery.
