Asus Zenfone 5 Lite Launched in Philippines

Taiwanese manufacturer, ASUS is shining bright in the mobile market these days. After launching its first smartwatch in the US market, it has launched new Zenfone series smartphone, 'Asus Zenfone 5 Lite' for the Philippines market. It is a cheaper version of Zenfone 5. It comes in three beautiful shades including Charcoal Black, Cherry Red and Pearl White. Company has priced this device at 5595 Philippine Pesos which is around INR 7700 according to Indian currency. So, if it comes to Indian market, it will be seen as budget device by ASUS.

Feature wise, it comes loaded with 1.2Ghz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor and 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and provide improved design to its users. Look wise, it follows other popular smartphones available in the market which packs big screen and elegant looks. Like many of its devices, it also has dual SIM configuration.

Camera wise, it brings 8MP camera on the back panel with LED flash so that you can click pictures in dim light condition. For the front shots, it packs 0.3MP camera on the front. It is definetly a heavy device with the measure of 160 grams weight and thickness as 10.8mm. Moreover, it offers 3G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as its connectivity features. For storage it has 8GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.

For the long usage period, the company has fueled it up with a 2500mAh battery. Regarding the launch of Zenfone 5 Lite in India, there is no news yet.
