Asus Zenfone C Officially Announced for $97

Zenfone series of the Taiwanese electronic company, Asus is not unknown. Now, the company is all set to spread its wings in the Malaysian market with the budget product known as 'Zenfone C (ZC451CG)'. It is announced for just $97. Zenfone C comes loaded with almost similar specification as the another member of Zenfone series 'Asus Zenfone 4' packs except the camera and battery.

Feature wise, it packs a 4.5-inch IPS display at front which provides a screen resolution of 854x480 pixels. Measurement wise, it has a 136.5mm length, 67mm width and 10.9mm thickness. Whereas, it weighs at only 149 grams. Processing the device is a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 1GB RAM. While, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with Zen UI.

For the camera lovers, it brings only 5 MP camera at back and 0.3MP camera at front. The main camera offers LED flash feature which allows you click in the dim light condition. To store your important stuff, it comes loaded with an internal memory of 8 GB and an expandable memory of up to 64GB via microSD card. On connectivity front, it offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3G HSPA+. For the backup, it comes loaded with 2100mAh battery under the hood which is different from Asus Zenfone 4 that packs only 1750mAh battery. 

In the terms of colors, the company has offered three excitingshades Black, Red and White. It will be available soon in Malaysia at RM 349. Regarding the launch in other countries, the company hasn't revealed any information yet.
