BlackBerry launches 9720 smartphone in India

BlackBerry has launched its affordable smartphone dubbed as 'BlackBerry 9720' in Indian market for Rs. 15,990. It consists of updated user interface which provides access to the camera from the lock screen and lets you swipe to unlock the phone.

Feature wise, BlackBerry 9720 comes with a 2.8inch capacitive touch screen display along with the resolution off 480x360 pixels and it runs on  BlackBerry 7.1 OS version. Inside, it has an 806MHz Tavor MG1 processor and 512MB of RAM memory. It support the internal storage of 512MB which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It brings 5MP of rear camera with image stabilization and digital zoom features along with LED flash.

This phone will be available to buy at the authorized retailer across the country from 14 September. It comes with Black, Pink, Purple and White color choices.
