HTC Desire 516c Launched in India for Rs.12,990

HTC Corporation which was formerly known as High Tech Computer Corporation is a smartphone manufacturer located in new Taipei City, Taiwan. The newest addition to the HTC Desire family has the top clarity in images and high tech speed and volume. HTC has introduced a cluster of devices today itself in India at an event that was held in Mumbai. One of those gadgets is HTC Desire 516c which will be exclusively available on Snapdeal.

This phone comes with dual SIM slot that is GSM and CDMA and is somewhat similar to HTC Desire dual SIM. This phone carries a giant 5.0 inch screen display with LCD capacitive touchscreen along with a display resolution of 480x854 pixels that makes this smartphone much more attractive.

It also builds a presence of the HTC's trademark that is HTC blink feed. This new smartphone has a rear camera of 5 MP with auto focus and LED flash and has the resolution of 2592x1944 pixels along with the front-facing camera of 0.3 megapixels with a resolution of 640x480 pixels mainly used for video conferencing and video calling. It supports 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal storage and can be expanded upto 32GB. It runs on 1.2GHz Quad core processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon. Coming onto the operating system HTC Desire 516c operates on the fastest and the latest version Android v4.4 KitKat version.

It comprises of mainly two sensors that are proximity and accelerometer sensors. This smartphone has a battery backup of 1950mAh, with the connectivity options of 3G, GPS, bluetooth, Wi-Fi and CDMA networks.

The main competitors in the market for this smartphone are Motorola Moto G the 2nd generation, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and Nokia Lumia 625. This phone is available with a price tag of 12,990/-.
