HTC One M8 Launched in India for Rs. 50000

HTC has added a new smartphone in its portfolio for the Indian market dubbed as 'HTC One M8' with the price tag of Rs. 50000 (approx., may vary). It is the successor device of last year launched smartphone HTC One M7. One M8 comes with a 5-inch full HD touch screen with display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Thickness and weight of this handset is 9.35mm and 160 grams respectively.

Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with HTC sense 6.0, it packs a 2.5Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330GPU and 2GB of RAM. For the camera lovers, it comes equipped with an 4.0 UltraPixel primary rear camera along with some features like dual LED flash, 28mm lens and BSI sensor, and a secondary rear camera . At its front panel, it has 5MP camera which is capable of capturing full HD video recording with HDR video. Apart from these features, it comes loaded with couple of more features like UFocus and Foregrounder. UFocus helps to change the focus of a photo with the help of depth information whereas, Foregrounder is used to set artistic filters and fun to the pictures background.

On the Connectivity front, HTC One M8 offers 4G LTE/3G HSPA+ network, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11, NFC, MHL, GPS and GLONASS. Storage wise, it supports 16GB of internal memory and an expandable memory of up tp 128GB via microSD card. Under the hood, it has a 2600mAh battery to draw a good back-up. There are three shades available in this smartphone including Glacial Silver, Gunmetal Gray and Amber Gold. It will be available at an approx price of Rs. 50000 in retail stores from May 7, 2014.
