Lava all-set to Launch IRIS X8 for INR 8,999

Lava is all-set to launch its new smartphone 'IRIS X8' in the popular Iris X series. It has been listed on the online retailer's website, Flipkart.com. It inherits its designing feature from other X series smartphones. Like, the IRIS X5 smartphone, it too miss a LED flash on front camera. The phone has a dual SIM configuration.

Talking about the specification, Iris X8 adorns a 5-inch HD IPS display at front which has a screen resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The Asahi Dragontrail glass protection is also there on screen to protect it from scratches. Dimensions of this phone are measured as 70.9×143.4×8.6mm and it weighs around  160 grams. Inside, Iris X8 packs a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor that is coupled with 2GB RAM and it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system which is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.

For the photography, it brings 8 MP rear camera with Dual LED flash and BSI sensor. While, at front it has 3MP camera. For the entertainment, company has loaded FM Radio in the phone. Storage wise, there is 16GB internal memory which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. On connectivity front, it offers 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The company has fueled it up with 2500 mAh battery under the hood.
