Lava Iris Pro 30 launched in India for Rs. 15999

Lava has finally launched the much-awaited Android smartphone for the Indian market dubbed as Lava Iris Pro 30 for Rs. 15,999. It is cited as the company's newest flagship device. It features a 4.7-inch IPS display based on OGS technology with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and its screen comes coated with a Corning Gorilla glass protection.  The dimensions of this feature phone are 138x66.7x7.5 mm and it weighs at 114grams.

At the heart, it packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX 544 GPU and 1GB RAM. On storage front, it supports internal memory of 4GB which can further be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card. The operating system version offered in this device is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Lava Iris Pro 30 has a Dual SIM configuration with dual standby and it features CABC screen brightness regulation technology that automatically set the brightness level of phone according to remaining battery. In the terms of camera, the smartphone comes equipped with a blue glass filter 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 3MP front-facing camera.

On connectivity front, it offers Wi-FI, GPS, 3G and Bluetooth. The phone draws backup from a 2000mAh battery. Some of the pre-loaded social apps on this phone are Twitter, MX Player, Lava Zone and Facebook. Company has launched this device in two color options such as Silver Metal Bezel and Black.

Lava Iris Pro 30 might go on sale after two weeks of January 2014. Apart from this mobile, the company is also planning to add two more phones in Iris Pro series dubbed as 'Iris Pro 25' and Iris Pro 40.
