Lava launches E-TAB Velo Plus 7 inch Android tablet

Lava has added, a new budget Android tablet in its portfolio for the Indian market dubbed as 'Lava E-TAB Velo Plus'. It comes with basic hardware features and it is available to buy at online store Snapdeal.com for Rs. 4,699.

Feature wise, it comes with 7inch multi-touch display along with the resolution of 480x800 pixels. It is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and packs a 1GHz Cortex A9 single core processor along with 512 MB RAM. The tablet brings only 0.3MP front camera and it support 4GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. In connectivity front, it offers  Wi-Fi, MicroUSB port and Bluetooth. It can support 3G connectivity via an external dongle.

The device comes with the normal features, so high-end applications are not expected to run on the device. It will mainly attract the budget conscious tablet buyers. It can be considered as a competitor to recently launched low cost tablet by HCL dubbed as 'HCL ME U3', it is available for Rs. 5, 449 in the country.
