LG Max with Android 5.1 Launched in India for INR 10,990

LG has launched a new smartphone, LG Max in the Indian market today. It has been offered at a price tag of INR 10,990. It is a successor of last year launched 'L Bello' smartphone and company also disclosed last week that soon they will launch it. But the latest news is that company has changed its name to 'Max' from 'Bello II'. Now it will be known by this new name for India and it comes with a remarkable camera features and it support Dual SIM configuration.

Talking about the specs, it hosts a 5-inch FWVGA display at front with 854x480 pixels resolution. It comes powered with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM to handle the tasks efficiently. Running the device is an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The dimensions of the phone are 140.8x71.6x9.6mm and it weighs at 155 grams.

For the photography, LG Max comes equipped with 8MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera which support LED flash. The front camera also supports Gesture Shot that will let you click selfies by just putting hand in front of camera. In the terms of storage, it has an internal memory of 8GB which can be further expandable memory of up to 32GB via microSD card. On connectivity front, it offers 3G HSPA, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS.

The company has fuelled it up with 2540 mAh battery under the hood. It has been offered in Three Gold, Titan and White color options. Commenting on the launch event, marketing head, Amit Gujral said,

"Most of the people who use internet on smartphones use 3G services as 4G is still at a nascent stage in our country. Keeping this in mind, LG has launched LG Max as we are sure that this smartphone will offer unprecedented value to 3G consumers. This smartphone offers great balance of form, function and price and we expect it to be even more successful than its predecessor."
