Micromax Launches A116 Canvas HD

Indian handset maker Micromax has introduced Micromax A116 Canvas HD. This new Android Smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz MT6589 quad core processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal space. The user interface is provided by the 4.1 Jelly Bean Android OS. The A116 Canvas HD features a 5" IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. A116 has an 8.1MP flash camera at rear end and a 0.3MP front camera. The phone weighs 168g and its dimensions are 144 x 74 x 10.7 mm. The phone is equipped with 2100 mAh battery that offers talk time up to 5 hours and standby up to 180 hours.

It uses GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and HSDPA 900/1900/2100 MHz band and comes loaded with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio and MicroSD card slot. The Micromax A116 Canvas HD will be available around a price tag of INR 15,000 in early February in India.
