Micromax launches Canvas Fun A74 for INR 7749

Micromax has added another product in the Canvas Fun series dubbed as 'Micromax Canvas Fun A74'. Targeting the youth generation, the phone is out in trendy colored back covers like Red and Blue.

Micromax Canvas A74 comes with a 4.5inch display and it is running with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Inside, it is powered by a 1.3GHz Dual Core processor along with 512MB RAM. It offers 5Mega Pixel camera with LED flash and 0.3MP front camera for video calling. In the terms of connectivity, it includes Bluetooth, GPRS, USB, GPS and 3G etc. It is powered by a 1500 mAH Li-ion battery.

Micromax is trying to strengthen its position in below 10 k price range. As Micromax is getting tough competition from the brands like Spice, Karbonn and Lava. The phone is on sale with several online portals and its starting range is INR 7749. Micromax has another device called, 'Canvas Fun A63' in the Canvas Fun series to launch soon. It will hold affordable price tag and might come with 2MP camera, 4inch display and other features same as A74.
