Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM Launched in India for Rs. 10199

Microsoft has launched a new smartphone in its Lumia series dubbed as 'Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM'. It has been offered at a mid-range price of INR 10,199. The smartphone is actually an upgraded model of 'Lumia 535'. The company revealed this phone last month with a promise of launch in May. The pre-bookings of this smartphone are already started. So thats customers who admire this new Lumia can order in advance.

Feature wise, it comes with a large 5-inch HD IPS LCD screen which offers a display resolution of 1280x720 pixels and 294ppi pixel density. The dimensions of the phone are measured as 144×73.69×9.35 mm and it weighs around 152 grams. At the heart, it packs a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor that is aided to 1GB RAM for efficient performance. The operating system version offered in this phone is a Windows phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim which is further expandable to Windows 10 Mobile.

For the photography, it brings an auto-focus 8MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera. The other camera features are LED flash, 28mm lens, f/2.2 aperture (main camera) and wide angle 24mm lens with f/2.4 aperture (front camera). In the terms of storage, it has 8GB internal memory and up to 128GB of expandable memory via microSD card. The connectivity attributes it offers are 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS and Bluetooth 4.0 LE. The company has fueled it up with a 2200mAh battery for backup.

The Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM comes in a very exciting color options including Orange, Black, Cyan and White. It will reach market shelves on May, 18 and buyers can buy it from both offline and online stores.
