Motorola Moto E Launched in India for Rs. 6999

Motorola has launched the budget smartphone in its Moto series for the Indian market dubbed as 'Motorola Moto E'. It is offered in India at Rs. 6999. It is a dual SIM device with a 4.3-inch qHD display and resolution of 960x540 pixels. The screen of the phone comes protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Motorola Moto E has a length of 64.8 mm,  width of 124.8 mm, thickness of 12.3 mm and weight of 142 grams as its dimensions.

The operating system version offered in this phone is Android 4.4.2 KitKat which is also upgradable to future Android version. At the heart, it has a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB of RAM and 400MHz Adreno 302 GPU. Storage wise, it comes equipped with 4GB of internal memory which can be further expanded by using the microSD card. It also offers 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio for entertainment. In the terms of connectivity, it offers 3G network, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi service. Under the hood, the company has fueled it up with the 1980 mAh battery.

To launch this latest budget smartphone, Motorola has again partnered with the online retailer Flipkart. And like always, Flipkart has came out with the free launch offers for its customers. These offers includes 50% off on Transcend memory and Moto E cover with one free eBooks worth Rs. 1000. The company has offered two colors in Moto E including White and Black. The optional grip shells and back cover are also came with the phone and Its retailing will be start from May 13 through the Flipkart.com.

This new offering by Motorola will definitely give competition to Nokia X, Samsung Galaxy Star, Lava Iris 406Q and Micromax Canvas Juice A77 in the terms of price as well as features.
