Nokia Sells 4.4 Million Lumia Smartphones

'Stephen Elop' the CEO of Nokia has opted windows phone as a weapon of choice in smartphone for his company. Nokia has announced that the fourth quarter of 2012 has the better sales than the expected. It estimated EVR 1.2 billion in revenue from sales. About 6.6 million Nokia smartphones were sold including 2.2 million, running on its old symbain software.

Worldwide sales of 4.4 million Lumia sets has exceeded its expectations. It has quadrupled its 2011 performance. But according to its outlook, Nokia is not having many positive signs in the first quarter of 2013. The company has enough scope to rock the global smartphone market again.
