Nokia X2 Dual SIM Android Smartphone Officially Announced

Microsoft has officially announced the new member of Nokia's X family, dubbed as Nokia X2 Dual SIM, which is also a successor of Nokia X smartphone. It was in speculations from long time but now company has listed it on the official site. The retailing of the handset will start immediately in selected countries with the price tag of Rs. 8090 approximately or 99 Euros.

Talking about its specs, X2 Dual SIM comes with a 4.3-inch ClearBlack LCD display along with a 800x480 pixels resolution. The screen of the phone is coated with a scratch resistant glass, which ensures the security of the screen from any type of scratches. Processing the device is a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that clocked at a speed of 1.2GHz coupled with a Adreno 302 and 1GB RAM. The operating system version offered in this phone is a Nokia X software platform 2.0 based on AOSP Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

For shutterbugs, X2 brings a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and it supports HD video recording capability. At the front, it includes 0.3MP camera for the selfies and video calling. In the terms of storage, it has 4GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. To connect with system and download applications, the phone offers Bluetooth, 3G support and Wi-Fi. In order to view maps and directions, it also includes GPS support.

The company has fuelled this feature rich phone with a 1800mAH battery which ensure the day long battery back-up. It comes with a six striking colors to choose from including glossy Yellow, Black, dark Grey, glossy Green, Orange and White. Regarding its availability in Indian market, there is no information yet.
