Oppo R5 with 4.85mm Sleek Body Announced

Oppo Electronics Inc. is a Chinese electronics handset maker headquartered in China. It deals with MP3 players, LCD-TV's, portable media players and mobile phones. Oppo R5 according to the company is claimed as the world's slimmest smartphone measuring to a width of 4.85mm.

The Oppo R5 is so sleek that it doesn't have a 3.5 mm headset jack port. The buyers will either have to rely on their bluetooth earphones or connect through an adapter. The components in the Oppo R5 are somewhat quite impressive as it comprises of 2GB RAM with the internal storage of 16GB. The smartphone has a screen display of 5.2 inch and an attractive AMOLED full HD display screen.

It also flares up PI 2.0 plus flash shot technology which gives 50MP high tech picture clarity. It is designed with the first grade steel micro-arc frame. The Oppo R5 has a VOOC mini rapid charging system.

The handset is powered with 1.5GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU along with a battery backup of 2000mAh. It runs on the latest Android version 4.4 KitKat

Coming onto the caption side, this smartphone has a 13 mega-pixel camera with Sony sensor which has a resolution of about 4128x3096 pixels along with a front-facing camera of 5 mega-pixels. Besides this, the connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS.

This smartphone will be available in Silver shade with an approximate price of around Rs. 30,636/-.
