Qualcomm Announces Snapdragon 800 and 600 Series Processors

The next generation of mobile Processors, Snapdragon 800 and 600 Series is announced by Qualcomm. Snapdragon 600 is expected to arrive by Q2 where as 800 should arrive by the middle of the year. Snapdragon 800  Processors deliver blazing fast apps and web browsing, breakthrough multimedia capabilities, visually stunning graphics, seamless communication virtually anytime, anywhere, Smart TV's, outstanding battery life for premium smartphones, digital media adapters and  tablets. While  Snapdragon 600  Processors aimed at mid range mobile devices, deliver outstanding performance for latest coolest apps, quick web browsing, seamless connectivity and prominent battery life for mid high-tier smartphones and tablets.

Snapdragon 600 processor includes two of Qualcomm's newest Krait 300 cores, clocked at 1.9GHz. Compared to the one in the S4, the GPU is the Adreno 320 with an increased clock speed.
Qualcomm's faster processor  Snapdragon 800 runs 4 of the latest Krait 400 CPU cores with a new Andreno 330. it can encode and decode 4K content at 30fps. Few other features like 9*25 3rd generation LTE baseband and 2*32bit LP-DDR3 at 800 MHz Memory are also included in processors. The new Snapdragon 200, 400, 600 and 800 series has now replaced the old  Snapdragon S1-S4 processors series.
