Panasonic Eluga Switch Reversible Smartphone Launched in India for Rs. 19990

Panasonic has come out with a new reversible smartphone in the market. The company has launched a new Eluga series smartphone for INR 19,990 dubbed as "Panasonic Eluga Switch". It seems to be a company's effort to compete with innovative smartphones launching in market these days. This smartphone comes with a unique reversible display feature that let you talk even when you hold it in an inverted position. It comes with dual microphones, 3D audio technology ARKAMYS and JBL powered 1.2W dual front speakers.

Putting light on the spec list, Panasonic Eluga Switch comes with a 5.5-inch full HD IPS OGS fully laminated display at front. It is also protected with Asahi Dragon Trail glass protection. At the heart, it packs a 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The operating system offered in this smartphone is a latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with Reversible UI. The dimensions of the phone include 152.7×75.14×7.4mm and it weighs at 141 grams.

For the photography, it comes equipped with 13MP rear and 8MP front-facing camera. The main camera sports full HD video recording and LED flash whereas the front camera offers 84-degree wide-angle lens. In the terms of storage, it offers 32GB internal memory with no microSD card support. Apart from that, it also has 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio for entertainment purpose.

On connectivity front, it offers 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, GPS, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC and Bluetooth. The Panasonic Eluga Switch comes in only one color - Gun Metal Grey. The company has fueled it up with a 2910 mAH battery under the hood for backup. Moreover, its sales package will also contain premium JBL headset.

On the launch event, Business Head of Panasonic, Pankaj Rana stated, "The Eluga Switch does exactly what it was imagined to do, offer two vertical screen orientations in one handheld device. A user can effortlessly ‘switch’ between an upright and inverted smartphone. The Switch is the epitome of consumer preferences, designed by keeping into consideration extensive customer feedback and expert technology."
