Pantech Unveils Discover Smartphone

The price is announced for the latest addition to AT&T  portfolio's, Pantech Discover. It costs just $49.99 on a contract and boasts a solid mid-range specs sheet. The phone will run on a dual-core 1.5GHz Krait processor. The Pantech Discover sports a 12.6MP camera with 1080p video recording with 16 gigs of internal storage and  a microSD card slot with Adreno 225 graphics. It features a 4.8" 720p display with all the connectivity like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, HSPA+ and LTE. The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with custom user interface from Pantech, but it is not clear about its conversion to Jelly Bean in the near future. The phone will hit the store on January 11.
