Pipo Launches M6 Quad-Core Tablet

Pipo launches a new Pipo Max M6 quad-core 9.7-inch tablet. The tablet comes with Retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and 4:3 aspect ratio and a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen.

On its hardware front, it has a quad-core 1.6GHz Rockchip 3188 Cortex A9 processor, 2GB of RAM, Mali-400 GPU, and a 10,000mAh battery. It is running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS upgradeable to Android 4.2.2. It also supports Adobe Flash 11 and HTML5 and offers a micro SD card slot.

It include two cameras — an autofocus 5-megapixel on its rear with flash, and a 2MP camera on its front. Usual connectivity features are dual-band WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, 3G support, Bluetooth 4.0, and mini HDMI output.

This Chinese mobile company is marketing the WiFi-only PiPO Max M6 for $269, while the 3G addition is available at a price of $308.
