Following a major victory on last Friday, Apple has issued a restraining order that would bar eight phones from being sold in the United States. Apple has asked that the following eight Smartphone models be banned including Galaxy S 4G, Galaxy S 2, Galaxy Prevail, and Droid Charge. With the exception of the AT&T version of the original Galaxy S 4G and the Galaxy S II, all of the listed phones are available now. AT&T, Boost, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon still carry the phones at prices to $149 with a two-year agreement. Apple increases the likelihood that customers may decide to purchase an iPhone if it can successfully block the sale of several low cost Smartphone that were at one point cutting-edge.
