Samsung Officially Launches Galaxy Beam 2 in China

Samsung has once again explored its market share by the launch of latest  metallic phone 'Galaxy Beam 2' with built-in projector in the Chinese market. It was certified by the Chinese officials last month. Its predecessor, Galaxy Beam has a plastic built and it was launched in year 2012.

Talking about the features, Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 comes equipped with a 4.66-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. It has a length of 134.5mm, width of 70mm and thickness of 11.64mm as its dimensions. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, it is packed by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. It comes loaded with an auto-focus 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 0.3MP of front-facing camera.

In the terms of storage, it supports microSD card slot of up to 64GB. Connectivity features of the phone includes 3G network, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS+GLONASS. The company has fueled it up with a 2600mAh battery under the hood. Before Samsung, Spice has also released the projector phone, 'Spice M-9000 Popkorn', but for the Indian market. It comes equipped with a 2.40-inch display with a resolution of 320x240 pixels which is quite less than this newly launched phone by Samsung.

Moreover, It is available in Black color only and it has a 87MB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 16GB via microSD card slot. It comes equipped with a 3.2MP of rear camera with a features like digital zoom, smile detection, continuous  shooting, white balance presets. In the terms of connectivity, it offers 3G network, Bluetooth, USB and GPRS. Under the hood, it is loaded with a Li-ion 1200mAh battery which gives a talktime of up to 3.5 hours and stand-by time of up to 5 hours.

Back to the Samsung Galaxy Beam 2, it will give tough competition to the Spice PopKorn if it launched in Indian market. Regarding the price of Beam 2, company hasn't revealed  any information yet.
