Sony SmartWatch 3 and SmartBand Talk Officially Announced in India for INR 19,990 & INR 12,990

Sony, who started smartwatch's trend in the market, has launched another device named as 'SmartWatch 3' in the Indian market along with a 'SmartBand Talk'. The company has showcased these smart devices at an IFA 2014 held in September last year. Price listed on Sony's official website are 19,990 for Smartwatch 3 and 12,990 for Smartband talk.

Feature wise, the Smartwatch 3 comes with only 1.6- inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen which has a display resolution of 320x320 pixels. It is an IP68 certified device which means it is protected from water and dust. Running on Android Wear platform, it packs 1.2GHz processor at the heart which controls all the basic functioning to provide effective service to its users. It also built with gyro, compass and accelerometer sensors to automate the daily tasks.

Not only this, it also offers Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS and Wi-Fi 80.11 as its connectivity features. For the storage purpose, it comes loaded with 4GB internal memory and supports 512MB RAM. The company has fueled it up with a 420mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 2 days typical use and 4days standby time. Whereas, the other device Smartband Talk comes with just 1.4-inch curved always on E- Ink display and it weighs at 12 grams. It is powered by a 32-bit ARM Cortex- M4 processor and it get power from 65mAh battery which delivers 1 hour talktime and 3 days standby time.

It also has microphone, wideband speech/ speaker and vibrator as is additional feature. It also support accelerometer and altimeter sensor. Although, the company has revealed the prices of these smart devices on its official website, but there is no information regarding the availability in Indian market.
