Sony Unveils Xperia Z Ultra

Sony unveils 'Xperia Z Ultra', a new hybrid device i.e. a phone-tablet which has finally been officially launched. It is claimed by the company that it is the first smartphone having Full HD TRILUMINOS display and the world's slimmest (6.5mm thick) Full HD smartphone which weigh just 212 grams. Like the Xperia Z phone, it comes with Sony's Walkman app and is dust and waterproof.

The phablet is a bussiness phone offering a very sensitive screen and handwriting identification using stylus or a pen. In its heart, it has a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, 3,000 mAh battery and a microSD card slot.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra features a 2MP front-facing camera, an 8MP Sony Exmor RS camera and resolution having 1920 x 1080 pixels in a 6.4-inch touchscreen display. It also uses the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software.
