Sony Xperia T3 with 7.7mm Thin Frame Officially Announced

The high-end mobiles manufacturer, Sony has announced its new mid-range smartphone which is expected to be unveiled globally by the end of July, 2014. It comes in Purple, Black and White shades but there is no information regarding the price.

In terms of specifications, Sony Xperia T3 has a 5.3-inch HD TRILUMINOS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 technology which is quite useful in order to perceive things more realistic and clear. It is also equipped with Sony Exmor RS sensor. The phone comes with a height of 150.7 mm, width of 77 mm and a thickness of 7 mm as its dimensions and it weighs at 148 grams. The super slim device carries a 8MP secondary camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording and also packs a 1.1 MP high quality primary camera for video calling.

The version of operating system offered in the T3 is Android 4.4 (KitKat) and is powered by 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB RAM. On the part of storage, it is provided with internal memory of 8GB as well as upto 32GB external memory with memory card slot.  To draw a good backup, Sony has energized the handset with a 2500 mAh battery.

Talking about the connectivity features the phone supports  Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, NFC and GPS/ GLONASS. It has FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack for enjoyment. Sony Xperia T3 is the world' s slimmest smartphone with a 5/3” display that got a stainless frame and aluminium power button. This new device will give a close competition to Samsung Galaxy Grand 2.
