Swipe Launches Konnect 5.0 for Rs. 8999

Swipe has launched a new smartphone 'Konnect 5.0' in the company's latest Konnect series for the Indian market at Rs. 8999. It comes in a sleek and impressive looks with three soft keys on front panel. It is the first device in Konnect series loaded with rich features. It is dual SIM device with 3G network support.

Feature wise, Swipe Konnect 5.0 comes with a 5-inch QHD capacitive touch screen IPS display along with a 960x540 pixels resolution. With an overall dimensions of 148x74x8.9 mm and weighting at 135 grams, the phone falls in a lightest mobile category. At the heart, 1.3GHz quad core processor is residing along with a 1GB RAM. The operating system version offered in this phone is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The smartphone brings a good 8MP rear camera with LED flash to capture good quality videos and stills. At the front, it also includes 3.2MP camera. It also facilitates FM radio and 3.4mm Audio jack. It offers 8GB of internal memory for the data storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity features of the phone includes 3G network, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi.

Under the hood, Konnect 5.0 packs a 1950mAh battery which promises a long lasting backup. It comes in a two color options including Black and White. The company has also offered free schemes like free flip cover, screen guard and business navigator to its customers. The phone available in the market at Rs. 8999 approximately. Regarding the new devices in Konnect series, there is no information yet, but the company is expected to launch 10 new smartphones in this series soon.
