Toshiba Unveils New Android tablets

Toshiba has launched its new range of own-brand tablets, the 'Toshiba Excite Write', 'Excite Pro', 'Excite Pure'. At its heart, all three tablets has Nvidia processor and Android operating system. Two of them comes with higher performance Nvidia's Tegra 4CPU and high resolution displays. All are armed with micro USB ports and HDMI. These tablets will available to major retailers in July and on its online store from June 25th .

The 'Toshiba Excite Pro' comes with NVIDIA Tegra 4 ARM Cortex-A15 quad-core processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software. It has 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 8MP rear and front cameras, Harman Kardon stereo speakers. On memory terms, it has 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and microSD card slot for external storage. An optional keyboard case with this tablet is its addtional feature.

'Toshiba Excite Write' has similar attributes as the Excite Pro. But note-taking app has already been installed in this tablet and it offers stylus. Its touchscreen comes with a Wacom active digitizer capability.

'Toshiba Excite Pure' comes with stereo speakers which support DTS Premium Voice Pro, 3 MP camera, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU. Its 10.1 touchscreen has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Like Excite Pro and Write, it has microSD card support.
 
The cost of Toshiba Excite Write, Excite Pro and Excite Pure will be $599.99, $499.99 and $299.99, respectively.
