ZTE Launches Star 1 Smartphone in China

Chinese mobile manufacturer ZTE, came out with a mid-range smartphone in its home market dubbed as ZTE Star 1. Its wonderful features put it in the best mobile phones category. It comes with a 5-inch full HD OGS display with 178-degree wide viewing angle and display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. One of the best feature of the phone is, it has only 6.58 mm thickness and a glass back with metal frame which make it more comfortable to carry.

Operating system version offered in this smartphone is the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat and it packs a 1.6Ghz quad-core  Snapdragon 400 processor along with the 2GB of RAM under the hood. It draws a back-up from 2300mAh battery which will give good talktime and standby time. In the terms of storage, it sports 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. To download the online applications and to share data, it offers 4G LTE/3G network, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and USB.

For the pleasure of photography, it comes loaded with an auto-focus 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 5MP of camera at front with 88 degree wide angle lens. The color options available in this mobile are Black, Pink and White. ZTE Star 1 is available for pre-booking in the Chinese market at the booking amount of 1399Chinese Yuan which is approx Rs. 13540 according to India, but in case the company launches this smartphone in India, the market price will be somewhere around Rs.17-19000 rupees. It would go on sale from the last week of April. Low price and high-end features of this mobile phone will definitely become hindrance in the sale of Micromax Canvas Knight A350 and Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus. Both these devices are also comprises of 5-inch touchscreen. Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus also runs on latest version of operating system, which is Android v4.4.2 KitKat.
