ZTE Nubia Z9 Max and Z9 Mini with Android 5.0, 16 MP Camera Announced

ZTE has rolled out two new smartphones in its most awaited Nubia series dubbed as 'Nubia Z9 max' and 'Nubia Z9 Mini'. The company has priced these devices very smartly to cover the needs of both budget and mid-range customers. The Z9 Max is a 5.5-inch phablet and Z9 Mini is an budget smartphone with 5-inch display. Both the device come crafted with aluminium alloy frame which will definitely attract many eyeballs.
 
Talking about the features of Nubia Z9 Max, it comes with a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display which offers a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating at front for the protection. It is powered by a 64-bit  Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC Octa-core processor and 3 GB RAM along with 600 MHz Adreno 420 GPU. It runs on a latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and it supports Dual Nano SIM slot. On connectivity front, it offers 4G LTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, USB OTG and GPS.
 
For the photography, it brings wonderful 16 MP rear camera and 8 MP front-facing camera. Other features it supports are Sony IMX234 Exmor RS sensor, 6P lenses, LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. In the terms of storage, it has 16 GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card.

While, the Z9 Mini includes a 5-inch full HD IPS display at front with 1920x1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes equipped with a Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and 2 GB RAM. The operating system version used in this smartphone is a latest 5.0 Lollipop. It packs a just 7.9 mm thickness and it weighs around 165 grams. The camera and storage features of the Z9 Mini are similar to its sibling Z9 Max.  It too supports Dual Nano SIM slot and offers 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS as its connectivity features. At its heart, it packs 2900 mAh battery for backup.

Both these devices are announced for Chinese market only and there is no information regarding the launch in other countries  yet. The Nubia Z9 Max would reach market shelves from April 16 and it is priced at 2499 Chinese Yuan (INR. 25116 approx.). While, Nubia Z9 Mini will be available from April 2 at 1499 Chinese Yuan (INR. 15065 approx.).
