Nokia Asha 503 is one of the latest micro dual SIM, dual standby smartphone by Finnish maker Nokia which was announced in October, 2013 and was released in November, 2013. It comes in a box with a high-efficiency charger AC-20, an user guide, a Nokia stereo headset WH-108, a Nokia 4GB microSD card and a 3.7V removable Li-Ion 1200mAh Nokia BL-4U battery with a standby time of up to 840 hours, a 2G and 3G talk time of 12 hours and 4.5 hours respectively, a Wi-Fi network browsing time of up to 4 hours and a cellular network browsing time of up to 8 hours. It has a height of 102.6mm, a width of 60.6mm and a thickness of 12.7mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 110.2gms and runs on 2G (GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz) and 3G (HSDPA 900/2100MHz) network frequencies. It is available in six shades which includes Yellow, Black, Green, Red, Blue and White at a price of INR 6,683.

Nokia Asha 503 has got a 3.0-inch, capacitive and multi-touch, LCD touchscreen display with a QVGA resolution of 240x320 pixels, 256k color depth and 133ppi pixel density with features like brightness control, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, screen double tap and Nokia glance screen. It has also got a RAM of 64MB along with a microSD memory card of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via the same. It is a Nokia Asha software platform 1.2 OS based smartphone with Firmware Over-the-Air software updates, some sensors such as accelerometer and proximity and a lot of other features such as a loudspeaker, a 3.5mm audio jack, Java games, noise cancelation, Nokia Xpress browser, photo and video sharing via Slam, cellular and Wi-Fi network positioning, stereo FM radio, voice recorder, vibrating alerts, automatic answer, an organizer, a photo editor, voice memo, an audio and a video player with a lot of supported formats, tethering, computer and OTA sync and many more.

Nokia Asha 503 has also got a 5.0MP rear camera with a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels, fixed focus, 3xdigital zoom, 1/4-inch sensor size, f/2.4 aperture, 32mm focal length, LED flash and self-timer which can even record videos of 320p@15fps with 1.5xvideo zoom. For messaging, it includes SMS, MMS, E-mail, IM and integrated social networking sites along with predictive text input. For connectivity, it has got a GPRS and EDGE with maximum data speed DL of 236.8kbps and maximum data speed UL of 85.6kbps, a Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, a v2.0 micro USB port, WLAN feature with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and good 3G speeds of HSDPA 7.2Mbps and HSDPA 5.76Mbps.
