Nokia is a Finnish multinational company headquartered in Espoo, Uusimaa. It is a renowned company in terms of communications and information technology. Nokia Lumia 630 Dual SIM is one of its budget smartphones that packs the goodness of Windows Operating System.

Design and Display

It is a slim and light weight device having 9.2 mm as its thickness and 134 grams of weight. Packed in a polycarbonate shell, it is highly durable and measures 129.5 mm in height and 66.7 mm in width. It boasts a beautiful 4.5 inches IPS LCD Clear Black, capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480x854 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen offers nice visual experience with its wide viewing angles and even responds well to its multi-touch feature.

Hardware and Software

Nokia Lumia 630 is the first handset to ship in the Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 Operating system which carries the goodness of Action Center, customizable toggles and many other things. It runs on the quad core processor that has been clocked to run at a maximum speed of 1.2 GHz. It has been assisted with 1 GB of RAM and Adreno 305 graphics processor. It uses 8 GB of on-board memory and 7 GB online storage on cloud for storing the files and applications along with the option of expansion up to 128 GB with a microSD card.

Telephony and Messaging

It is a Dual SIM handset that works on 2G and 3G networks. Nokia Lumia 630 makes the daily routine functions easy with its host of messaging and mailing features like SMS, MMS, Push Mail, resizing images for MMS, integrated SMS and chat, number screening for messaging, conversation view, filters, text to speech reader and many more. Support for various Email clients includes Gmail, Nokia Mail, MS Exchange Active Sync, Outlook.com, Hotmail, IBM notes traveler, Exchange and Yahoo! Mail. Along with the above, instant messaging is also facilitated on various apps like Whatsapp, MySpace, Twitter, SkypeIM, WeChat, Viber, Yahoo! For the shutterbugs, it carries a 5 MP rear camera with f/2.4 aperture, 28 mm focal length and auto-focus features. Other settings includes 4x Zoom, Touch Focus, White Balance modes, Geo-tagging, Panorama, Nokia Refocus, Bing Vision, Cinemagraph lens, Nokia Glam Me. The camera is also able to record HD videos with 30 frames per second.

Entertainment

To keep the user entertained, the device features a music player supporting almost all popular audio formats, an internet radio and a FM radio. Also you can enjoy its preloaded music apps like Nokia MixRadio and Xbox Music. Sound quality is decent both while taking calls and playing music, thanks to its active noise cancellation system. Other than this, user can record or play videos, record sounds and play embedded games. The HTML 5 browser further helps to download various apps and games.

Connectivity and Battery

Coming on the networking part, it offers options of GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and DLNA. Data is transferred at HSDPA speed of 21 Mbps and HSUPA speed of 5.76 Mbps. For sharing data between compatible devices, it also features Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and microUSB connectivity. GPS system with A-GPS and GLONASS support is also there to help you in navigating through unknown places. Under the hood, it carries a Li-ion battery of 1830 mAh which ensure standby time of up to 648 hours and talktime of up to 16 hours.
