Overview
The Nokia X7-00 is a phone for those who value precision
Being a fully touchscreen phone, this model makes contact with the networks at breakneck speeds. On the 2G network it has the frequencies of GSM 850/ 900/1800/1900 while on the 3G network it clocks HSDPA 850/900/1700/ 1900/2100. With these speeds, accessing network functions is made easy. The phone’s display is four inches, measuring 360 x 640 pixels. The display doubles up as an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen capable of displaying 16M colors. To make the touchscreen last long, there is Gorilla Glass Display technology in place. There is also an accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and a proximity sensor for auto turn-off.
The X7-00 also packs great technology for those who like surfing the net. It has the capability to access RSS feeds, which is a great feature for those who like subscribing to some websites. In terms of speed, the phone can reach a high of 10.2 Mbps on 3G HSDPA and 2 Mbps on 3G HSUPA. Even when connected to less advanced network providers, this phone will give nice results because it makes use of Class 33 GPRS and EDGE. In terms of memory, this phone is a mammoth in its own right: Its RAM is 256 MB while its ROM is 1 GB. Its microSD card slot can accommodate up to 32 GB; and the phone has an 8 GB card included. This extra memory can be occupied by content obtained through the phone’s microUSB v2.0 support or the v3.0 Bluetooth or Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
