Oppo is a Chinese manufacturer of electronic gadgets which was founded by Tony Chen in the year 2004. Its headquarters are located in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. The company has introduced a wide range of smartphones to the market in June, 2014 and Find 7 is one of them. The box contents includes a handset, headset, charger, battery, USB cable, user manual and a warranty card. Let's check what Oppo has packed into the Find 7.

Design and Display

Oppo Find 7 is crafted from metallic materials with absolute precision to ensure durability and reliability. The solid titanium-aluminum frame enhances the beauty of this smartphone. It comes with five layers of thermal protective coating that prevents the phone from overheating  while charging. The Find 7 measures 152.6mm in height, 75.0mm in width and 9.2mm in thickness and weighs 171grams. The overall look of phone is impressive with a nice wide quad HD screen of 5.5-inches which provides a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and is protected by gorilla glass 3. The touch of Find 7 responds flawlessly whether you are bare handed or with gloves.

Hardware and Software

Powering the Find 7 is a quad-core 2.5 GHz processor with latest Qualcomm snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC chip-set and Adreno 330 GPU. It has a RAM of 3 GB and an internal storage of 32 GB which can be expanded up to 128 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Oppo Find 7 runs on the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.

Telephony and Messaging

The Find 7 operates on 2G (GSM), 3G (HSDPA) and 4G (LTE) frequencies. The phonebook of device comes with the capacity to store an unlimited number of contacts. The MMS, SMS (thread view), push mail, email and IM are the messaging facilities available for the device. The predictive text input feature of phone facilitates typing.

Camera

Oppo Find 7 boasts a brilliant 13 MP rear shooter with an auto-focus, dual LED flash, Geo-tagging, panorama, touch-focus, face detection and HDR that takes 4128x3096 resolution pictures. It also features a 1/3.06 imaging module, IMX214 CMOS sensor by Sony and a wide f/2.0 aperture that allows more light in. The camera takes great photos even in low light conditions and gives crystal clear night shots. The front-facing camera has a good 5 MP count that allows 2560x1920 resolution selfies.

Multimedia

The music player uses the MaxxAudio sound enhanced technology that offers crisp and clear sound quality. The device supports the dynamic range of audio frequencies for a better listening experience. One can play and record 2160p at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps and 720p at 120fps videos on to the device. The FM radio gives you uninterrupted signal and entertainment. It comes pre-loaded with various apps like facebook, Gmail, Google search, maps, twitter, yahoo mail and you-tube.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity options available for Find 7 are GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-fi802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, micro USB v2.0 and NFC. The A-GPS support is also there for navigation. Oppo Find 7 is fueled by a removable 3000 mAh battery which stays longer for even one day.
