Oppo, a Chinese manufacturer of electronic gadgets was founded by Tony Chen in 2004. Its headquarters are located in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. The company has announced the N1 Mini, a compact version of Oppo N1 in June, 2014 in Beijing. Design and Display

Oppo N1 Mini is a well designed smartphone that grabs the attention of masses almost everywhere. The metallic body and silver detailing on the borders enhances the beauty of this phone. The dimension figures of N1 Mini includes a height of 148.4mm, width of 72.2mm and a thickness of 9.2mm. It weighs around 150 grams. The N1 mini has a 5-inch HD IPS display from JDI which provides a high resolution of 1280x720 pixels and a 294ppi pixel density. There is no hard key present on the front panel, it features only three soft touch keys.

Powering the Oppo N1 Mini is a fast quad-core 1.6 GHz processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip-set and adreno 305 GPU. The smartphone has a massive RAM of 2GB and an internal memory of 16GB. The N1 Mini runs on the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean operating system which handles the apps efficiently thrown on its way.

Oppo N1 Mini operates on GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz, HSDPA: 850/900/1900/2100MHz and 4G LTE frequency bands. Oppo N1 Mini has a 13MP rotating camera with LED Flash, auto-focus, touch-focus, Geo-tagging, panorama, HDR, face detection, 1/3.2″ Sony IMX214 stacked sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 6-element lens which provides a resolution of 4128x3096 pixels. The camera delivers great shots in day as well as night light conditions.

The N1 Mini features a music and video player which offers solid surround sound and amazing picture quality. The phone is capable of recording 1080p at 30fps videos. It comes pre-loaded with various apps like facebook, Gmail, Google search, maps, twitter, organizer, document viewer, Google talk, yahoo mail and you-tube. All of these provides entertainment to the users.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the device includes 3G, 4G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth v4.0 and micro USB v2.0. The A-GPS support is also there for navigation. Oppo N1 Mini is fueled by a Li-Ion 2140 mAh battery which lasts longer for even one day.
