Panasonic P41 is a mid-range smartphone released in July, 2014. It is powered by the latest KitKat operating system and also enables the user to access their favourite applications by drawing symbols on the screen. Mid-rangers like 'Xiaomi Redmi 1S', 'Moto G', 'Asus Zenfone 5' and 'XonPhone 5' are the rivals of this phone.The box contents consists of a charger, handset, battery, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. Display and Dimensions

The IPS display of the phone measures 5 inches in size with a qHD screen resolution of 960x540 pixels. The pixel density is 240 ppi. There is a non slip cover at the back panel which makes it good to carry and hold. The screen resolution is quite low which is sufficient for fundamental tasks like watching videos, playing games etc. The dimensions of the smartphone are measured as 142.4mmx71.9mmx8.2mm and weighs at 142.4mm. It features an accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensor.

Processor and Operating System

The P41 is fueled by Android v4.4.2, KitKat OS which gives you allowance to hang out with the latest applications. The company has introduced this android phone with additional feature i.e.'Gesture Play+' that lets you access applications, contacts, music and settings on your smartphone by drawing numbers or letters. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

Camera and Storage

It is provided with an 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and digital zoom for enhanced low light performance. One can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. On the other side, 2 MP camera is fixed at the front that helps in clicking self portraits and to do video calls. It comes with an internal storage of 8GB that can be stretched upto 32GB with the support of memory card slot.

Connectivity and Battery

As far as connectivity is concerned, the device has all the regular features such as 3G, A-GPS, bluetooth, v4.0, A2DP, GPS, microUSB v2.0, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspot. The device is fueled by Li-ion 2000 mAh battery for normal talk-time as well as stand-by time.

Multimedia and Other Features

The company has designed this handset with some exciting multimedia features comprising 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, music player, video player, image viewer, voice recording and games. The basic features present in the phone are alarm clock, calendar, clock, organiser and SNS integration. SMS, Email and MMS are the messaging services which the user can use for texting and mailing.
