Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 S7272 is a dual SIM Android smartphone announced in June and released in July 2013. It holds a strong processor, OS, fastest connectivity options and many more advanced features like Svoice, cloud storage etc. The phone is perfect from all the aspects.

Processor and OS

At the heart, the phone has a dual-core processor that clocked at a speed of 1.0GHz along with a Broadcom BCM21664 chipset and Videocore IV GPU. It is coupled with 1GB RAM for sufficient amount of room for the data that requires fast access. The device operates on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS which is an outdated version, but it delivers efficient performance.

Display and Design

Ace 3 comes with a 4.0-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a display resolution of 480x800 pixels. It ensures you the real life clarity through 233ppi pixel density with 16M color depth. The dimensions of the phone are measured as 121.2 (height), 62.7mm (width), 9.79mm (thickness) along with a weight of 115 grams. The screen also includes some sensors for the user comfort like accelerometer, proximity and digital compass.

Camera and Storage

It offers a 5MP rear camera to its users for capturing every special moment in pictures and let them share with their friends and family. The highest resolution you can set for the pictures is 2592x1944 pixels. It also includes some additional features to ensure you quality pictures such as LED flash, auto-focus, geo-tagging, panorama, face and smile detection. It is capable of recording 720p videos at 30fps. While at the front, it has 0.3MP camera for the selfies. The picture quality of front camera is not as good as by primary camera, so you can use it only in necessity. For the storage of data, it has a 4GB internal memory, with an option of expandable memory through microSD card of up to 64GB.

Connectivity and Battery

To connect with systems, you have bluetooth, USB port, 3.5mm jack and NFC. To serve the downloading purpose, the phone has EDGE, GPRS, 3G, 4G and Wi-FI support and in case you want to view maps and directions, it has GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS. It works on 2G, 3G and 4G network frequencies as well. The back-up to the phone is provided by a Li-ion 1500mAH battery that delivers up to 8 hours of talk-time and 370 hours of stand-by time on 3G network.

Multimedia

It has FM Radio and audio player supporting formats like XviD, MP4, H.263 and H.264 player for entertainment purpose. It comes pre-loaded with some apps like Gmail, Google Search, Google Talk, Picasa and YouTube. For messaging, it supports SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and IM with predictive text input. Some other features that the phone offers for its users are voice memo/dial, organizer, document viewer, image editor, calendar and Java MIDP emulator. The phone supports vibration and MP3, WAV ringtones as its alert types.
