Low Cost KitKat Based Smartphone

Samsung earned huge acclaim in the mobile market with its Galaxy series smartphones. After launching several mid-range and high-end smartphones in this series, company launched Galaxy Core Prime in October, 2014. It comes in a choice of single and dual SIM model. Falling in budget friendly category, it holds quite decent specification and a good looks to meet the need of common people.

Design and Display

Inheriting its exterior features from other Galaxy series smartphone, this phone packs a 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 480x800 pixels resolution, 16 Million color depth and 207ppi pixel density. This screen is idle for gaming, messaging and watching videos. It is just a 8.8mm thick handset which ensure a firm grip while holding into one's palm.

Processor and OS

It is powered by a Quad-core processor that clocks at a speed of 1.3GHz along with a 1GB RAM to provide enough space to the data that need fast access. Operating system version offered in this phone is Android 4.4 KitKat which offers more improved design and performance.

Camera and Memory

For the photography, it comes equipped with a 5MP camera on back panel with auto-focus, digital zoom and LED flash feature. It clicks a picture of 2592x1944 pixels resolution. At the front, it got a 2MP camera for the selfies and video calling. The rear camera is also capable of recording full HD videos. To store all your pictures, songs and messages this phone has an inbuilt memory of 8GB along with an expandable memory of up to 64GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

For the faster internet experience, this phone offers Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE to its users. While for wireless data sharing and PC connectivity there are bluetooth and USB cable present in the phone. To draw a day long backup, Galaxy Core Prime depends upon Li-Ion 2000mAh battery. It operates on 2G, 3G and 4G network frequencies.
