Samsung Galaxy series houses many innovative as well as feature-rich smartphones. And in the month of July, 2015, it has announced its new smartphone, 'Galaxy Folder 2015' in the market which is designed by using a Clamshell form factor. It is also known as the successor of last year launched 'Galaxy Folder' smartphone. The company has targeted other brands clamshell smartphone like LG Wine Smart. Let see how these smartphones change the mind of buyers, who are attracting towards bar smartphones. Let's explore its features deeply below:

Display and Design

Samsung Galaxy Folder (2015) comes with a good design. It front flip is crafted with horizontal lines type texture which helps in enhancing the looks of the phone. It front supports a TFT screen of 3.8-inch which has a display resolution of 800x480 pixels and color depth of 16 Million. Its body measures a height of 122 mm, width of 60.2 mm, thickness of 15.3 mm and its overall weight is 155 grams.

Processor and OS

It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system which is a latest version of OS. And from the company like Samsung we can expect this OS in the new phones. While at the heart, it packs a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor with 1.5 GB RAM. This might become its weakness as there are many good phones available in the market with powerful processor and RAM at low cost than this.

Camera and Memory

For the photography, it has 8 MP primary camera and 2 MP primary camera. The highest resolution one can set for the pictures is 3264x2448 pixels. While the front camera supports 1600x1200 pixels resolution. The main camera supports full HD video and it offers many features like digital zoom, auto-focus, face-detection and geo-tagging. On storage front, it has 8 GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity options includes Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/A-GPS, USB and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It works on 2G, 3G and 4G LTE network frequencies. For the backup, company has loaded Li-Ion 1800mAh battery under the hood. It provides a 3G talktime of 10 hours and music playback time of 32 hours.
