Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is the newest Dual-SIM dual stand-by smartphone from South Korean manufacturer Samsung which was announced in November, 2013. The price and details regarding its launch are not yet disclosed but it is expected to hit the market soon. It has a Li-Ion 2600mAh battery with a talk time of 17 hours and runs on 2G(GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and 3G networks. It has a height of 146.8mm, a width of 75.3mm and a thickness of 8.9mm as its dimensions along with a weight of 163gms. It will be available in Black, Pink and White shades.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 has a 5.25-inch, capacitive and multitouch, HD TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels, 280ppi pixel density, 16 million colors display and TouchWiz user interface. It has a RAM of 1.5GB and an internal memory of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD memory card. It is an Android v4.3, Jelly Bean OS based smartphone with a quad-core 1.2GHz processor and some sensors such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and ambient light. It has also got some other features such as a HTML5 browser, GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS, Java via MIDP emulator, active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic, a document viewer, image/video player and editor, voice memo/dials/commands, a loudspeaker, a 3.5mm jack, tethering, computer and OTA sync and many more.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 has a 8.0MP rear camera with a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels, digital zoom, auto-focus, LED flash, touch focus, image stabilization, face and smile detection and geo-tagging and can play as well as record videos of 1080p@30fps with stereo sound recording. It has also got a 1.9MP front camera for video calling. For messaging, it has got SMS, MMS, E-mail, Push E-mail, IM, RSS and integrated social networking sites along with predictive text input. For connectivity, it includes a GPRS and EDGE, WLAN feature with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot, a v4.0 Bluetooth with A2DP, LE and EDR and a v2.0 micro USB port. It has also got exclusive Samsung features like Story Album, S Translator, S Travel, Samsung Hub, Group Play and many more.
