The phone’s dimensions are 58.6x109.4x12.5 mm. The phone fits comfortably in the hand and does not slip or overheat with long use. The battery will last for about 6 hours on 3G use. Almost all of the games on marketplace can be played on the phone

User Interface and Comfort to Use Samsung Galaxy Young Duos

The phone comes with the latest Android version 4.1. The UI is optimized for touch wiz. The phone comes with a fast 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor. The available RAM is 768MB and the internal memory is 4GB. The memory can be extended up to 64GB using a MicroSD card. The phone has a 3.2-inch TFT screen with 320 x 480 Pixels resolution. The screen resolution is adequate but not very crisp and clear but still very good. The UI is simple and easy to use.

The phone supports both 2G and 3G networks. The phone also has Dual SIM capacity and you can switch SIMs without having to power off the phone. The call quality in both 2G and 3G is good. The phone has a 3.2MP rear camera, which can take photos up to 2048x1536 pixel resolution. The photos are decent but lack of focus and colour depth. The CMOS sensor does give the photos some sharpness but it is not enough. Other features include Geo-tagging, Multi-scene Mode, Multi-shooting Mode, White Balance, Metering, Timer, and Image Editor.

Video Camera and Video Quality

Video can be recorded up to 24fps at 640x480 resolution. The videos recorded are grainy. The video player can playback up to 30fps, which is not very satisfactory, but you can make out what is going on the screen.

Games are also available on the phone but the low resolution of the screen prevents you from fully enjoying the games.

Value for Money

The phone is priced at INR 7500 (approx., may vary) in the market. The cost of the phone and the low-resolution screen plus the low quality camera does not justify the price.
