SmartWatch is a computerized wrist watch that functions almost similar to our so called smartphones. Samsung has launched a new smartwatch the Gear 2 Neo in June, 2014. It measures 58.8 mm in height, 37.9 mm in width and 10.0 mm in thickness and has a weight of 55 grams. The Gear 2 Neo operates on the Tizen operating system. Powering the device is a dual-core processor with a massive RAM of 512 MB.

Samsung Gear 2 Neo features a super AMOLED display of 1.63-inches which provides a resolution of 320x320 pixels. The accelerometer and gyroscopic sensors are there for the comfort of users. The IP67 certified Gear 2 Neo is dust and water resistant. Therefore, you need not to feel worried about the unpredictable weather and rough conditions. It also comes fitted with heart rate sensor, pedometer and S health features that track your daily routine of exercise in order to give you a customized coaching and helps you to achieve your goals.

The Gear 2 Neo allows you to make and receive calls too. There is a SMS and email facility available for the device. This smartwatch comes pre-loaded with apps like Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, personalized fitness manager, customizable themes, watch ON, IR remote control, S voice, exercise, media controller, smart relay and smart notification, all for the easy to use interface. It is compatible with the smartphones that uses android 4.0 operating system or later.

This smartwatch is equipped with stand-alone music player for the entertainment of users and feels even better with the supplied bluetooth headsets. The music player supports the popular audio formats that includes MP3, M4A, AAC and OGG. On the connectivity front, it has USB v2.0 and Bluetooth v4.0 connectivity. It is fueled by a Li-Ion 300 mAh battery which offers a typical usage time up to 2-3 days and low usage time up to 6 days.

Samsung Gear 2 Neo comes with three interchangeable band colors which includes Wild Orange, Charcoal Black and Mocha Grey that allows you to create your own unique look. Overall, it will serve as a great package from Samsung with a price tag of Rs.15,450 approx, may vary.
