The Sharp corporation is a Japanese company which manufactures electronic products. The Aquos Crystal is an uniquely designed smartphone by the company which comes with a groundbreaking borderless display that goes right to the edge of the phone. It is slated to be release in August, 2014. It operates on 2G, 3G and 4G network frequency.

Display and Design

The device holds a slim and sleek body with a tiny bezel around the screen. It features a 5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M color depth and 294ppi pixel density which takes your visual experience to the whole new level. It provides a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The dimensions of the phone are measured as 131x67x10 mm and it weighs at 141 grams. It also has some sensors like accelerometer, proximity and compass.

Processor and OS

The Aquos Crystal packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset and 1.5GB RAM to provide you unrivalled service. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system which provides a new feature and improved design to its users.

Camera and Memory

For the shutterbugs, it comes equipped with an 8MP camera on the back with a features like auto-focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus and face detection. On the other hand, it includes 1.2MP camera on the front for selfies and video chatting. For the storage of data, it provides an internal memory of 8GB along with a microSD support of up to 128 GB for additional storage.

Connectivity and Battery

It includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, microUSB v2.0 and Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP as its connectivity features. For the day long back-up, this device comes loaded with a Li-Ion 2040mAh battery which promises a 2G talk time of up to 13 hours.
