Sony has progressed by leap and bounds and sprawled into each and every part of the world. This is a biggest brand headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan and founded on 7 May, 1946 in Tokyo. Recently, they have launched the Sony Xperia A4 for NTT Docomo in their 2015 summer lineup. Notably, the new Sony Xperia A4 features nearly identical technical specifications as the Xperia Z3 Compact, launched last year. For now, this smartphone is available on pre-orders via NTT Docomo and company will start its shipping from mid of June. So far company has not revealed pricing details for this handset. Let's have a look on what Sony has offered to customers under the hood of xperia A4.

Design and Display

This smartphone has compact body which can be hold by one hand only. It  can easily fit into your palm. The rear panel of this smartphone is in matte texture and en-carved in a unique design. It is framed in round edges. It has 4.6-inch Triluminos display with X-Reality engine and screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels equipped with latest design and features. Like most of the Sony's top-end smartphones, it also features IP65/IP68 ratings for dust-proof and waterproof certification. It has dimensions of 128x66x9.1mm and weight is around 129 gm.

Processor and Memory

The single-SIM Xperia A4 features a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with Adreno 330 GPU with 2GB RAM. So, there is no worries about the performance. You can enjoy hassle free browsing experience. Apart from this it has 16 GB of inbuilt memory which can be further expanded upto 128 GB by using MicroSD card. You can store as many as songs, videos, pictures in your smartphone. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

Camera

Coming to the camera, it comes with 20.7 MP of primary camera with Exmos RS sensor which is beyond the realm of smartphones, gives you high-end photography with amazing picture quality. While front camera is of 2.2 MP with self-timer function which makes self-portrait easy to click. Front and rear both cameras are capable of recording videos simultaneously at 1080p and 720p HD resolution.

Battery and Connectivity

The smartphone comes with 2600mAh battery with stamina mode. This is helpful in case of emergency when you forgot to charge your battery. By using emergency power saving mode you can puts off between standby time to save battery power. In terms of connectivity it includes Xi LTE, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GPS/GLONASS, NFC etc.

Shades and Price

It will be available in Grey, Pink, Blue and White colors. There is no pricing details revealed by the company till now.
