Overview

Company's First 4G Based Pocket Friendly Smartphone

Stellar 519 is the company's first 4G LTE smartphone announced in April, 2015. It is a pocket friendly smartphone which supports 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), 3G (HSDPA 2100 MHz) and 4G (LTE) network frequencies. It is based on KitKat platform and has dual SIM functionality along with dual stand-by option. Lets have a glance at the review of this smartphone.

Display

It exhibits a 5 inch multi-touch display set at 480x854 pixels providing a pixel density of 196 ppi. It has a color depth of 16 million. Spice touts that the handset supports a thickness of 9.5 mm while also having support for multiple languages. It is made by using a bar format which comes loaded with accelerometer sensor, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.

Processor and Operating System

The dual SIM smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, Adreno 306 GPU paired with a 1 GB of RAM. It runs on Android v4.4 (KitKat) operating system.

Camera and Storage

On the camera front, it has an 8 MP rear camera which supports number of features like digital zoom, geo-tagging, auto-focus, LED flash and HDR. It delivers a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. And for the purpose of selfies and video calls, one can use 3.2 MP front facing camera having a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels. It comes with 8 GB of internal memory along with an expandable memory card slot that can accommodate an additional 32 GB.

Connectivity and Battery

It host the usual set of connectivity attributes including 3G, 4G, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi, GPRS and EDGE. It draws a backup from Li-Polymer 2500 mAh battery which is rated to deliver a talktime of up to 10 hours and standby time of up to 264 hours over 2G network.
