Spice is a mobile phone brand that has released the Stellar Mi-526, a dual SIM smartphone in July, 2014. The box contents include a handset, charger, battery, headset, USB cable, user manual and warranty card. Let's check out its specifications.

Design and Display

As far as designing is concerned, the Spice Stellar Mi-526 has got average looks. It measures 143.6mm in height, 71.7mm in width and 8.3mm in thickness. The handset has got a weight of 162 grams. The front panel is dominated by a IPS HD capacitive touchscreen of 5.0-inches which has a resolution power of 720x1280 pixels.

Hardware and Software

Powering the smartphone is a super-fast Hexa-core 1.6 GHz processor coupled with a 1 GB RAM. It comes with an internal memory of 8 GB which can be extended up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. The Spice Stellar Mi-526 is based on the latest Android OS, v4.4.2 KitKat platform.

Telephony and Messaging

The smartphone operates at 2G and 3G network frequencies of GSM 900/1800 MHz and HSDPA 2100 MHz respectively. One can store an unlimited number of contacts to the phonebook memory of Spice Stellar Mi-526. For messaging, it has SMS, MMS, IM, email and push email like options.

Camera

The 8 MP rear shooter of phone comes featured with a LED flash, auto-focus, face and smile detection, panorama, HDR, continuous shots, live photo mode, zero shutter delay, voice and gesture photo capture. It has the ability to capture 3264x2448 pixels resolution shots. The smartphone also comes equipped with a 3.2 MP front-facing camera which provides a photo resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The users can also make a video call with its front camera.

Connectivity and Battery

The connectivity attributes of the device include 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, hands-free and micro USB. It also features GPS with A-GPS support which helps in navigation. Backing up the device is a Lithium-polymer 2500 mAh battery.
