Swipe Telecom is an Indian company which produces rich featured tablets and phablets with affordable price tags. The Swipe Slate Pro is a latest Slate series tablet which was launched in December, 2014. The tablet supports 3G service and voice calling feature. The device fulfills basic need of the buyers and it is rich enough to beat the other competitors in the market.

Display and Design

The front of the tablet dominates a 9.7-inch capacitive multi- touch IPS display which has a 1024x768 pixels resolution and 16 Million display colors. Measuring the thickness at 8mm and weighing at 613 grams, this tablet is quite heavy and slim. The overall looks of the device is quite impressing.

Processor and OS

At the heart, this device packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM to provide the ample space to the data that need fast access. While, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system that allows smooth app performance.

Camera and Memory

The back panel of the tablet comes equipped with 2MP camera to let you capture precious moments. It provides a picture resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. At front, it got a 0.3 MP camera for the acceptable quality pictures. To store the data, it supports 16GB internal memory which can be further expandable with the help of microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

The tablet offers Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, EDGE and USB cable as its connectivity features. It operates on 2G(GSM 900/1800 MHz) + 3G(HSDPA 2100MHz) network frequencies. For the long usage period, it depends upon Li-Ion 6400mAH battery that promises good back up time to the device.
