ViewSonic ViewPhone 5e

ViewSonic has just announced its latest line of dual SIM smartphones. The cover has also been lifted off the ViewPhone 5e. It runs on a pre-loaded Android Icecream Sandwich operating system (v 4.0) and has a giant 5 inch display screen. Although it is equipped with a 480 x 800 WVGA resolution, ViewSonic claims that the display gives a high quality, clear, vivid and vibrant display. Those who like viewing a bigger display of images and videos will enjoy the 5e experience. The dual SIM option hints that this phone is primarily targeting developing markets to give their people maximum coverage.

ViewPhone 5e is installed with a custom made skin. A huge clock on the top and round icons at the bottom will remind you of the HTC Sense. Memory can be expanded through the microSD card and a 4.9 MP camera will take bright and vivid photos and videos. So far no further details of the 5e’s memory, processor and other features are known. The details will be updated here as soon as they are made public. This phone is set to be released in the 3rd quarter of 2012 and is expected to be initially priced at $599.
